Starfari is the stage name of Ali Jafari, a disco and mid-tempo producer based in the Bay Area. Over the past 20 years, he has embarked on a musical journey characterized by a unique blend of vibrant disco beats, infused with psychedelic and international samples.

Angelica Hay is an interdisciplinary artist, musician, certified breathwork facilitator. She started Breath/Work to share how intentional breathing can help creatives navigate stress and stay inspired. With a background in science, art and music, Angelica brings a grounded multidisciplinary and creative approach to music production.

Daniel Longworth is a San Francisco-based producer and DJ known for his unique style of UK Garage and DJ edits. His tracks have been played in sets by DJs such as salute, Conducta and Oppidan and he has performed clubs and festivals across the US and abroad, providing support for artists such as Sammy Virji and SG Lewis.

Dillan brings a deep, community rooted approach to sound design and finishing records. MNTRA is known for uplifting anthems, emotional vulnerability, and blending different genres. His 2025 was nonstop with an album on Justin Martin’s @whattodo.love and festival appearances at Lightning in a Bottle Desert Hearts, and Shambhala.

Lead Instructor (Building Blocks, Making Waves, and Claim Your Sound)
Dylan is a professional music producer, and mixing and mastering engineer. Originally from the Netherlands, he gained momentum from an official remix he did for Disclosure and has since worked with artists like Angrybaby, kryptogram and Supertaste, just to name a few. Dylan is passionate about empowering students through creativity.

Gabe is a professional producer, singer/songwriter, and recording/mixing engineer. Better known as 9 Theory, Gabe has come into his own after numerous bands and musical projects as a renowned producer blending different genres of electronic, indie rock, and hip-hop into an original, unique sound.

Josh is a professional producer, gigging musician, and AP-certified music theory teacher. As the instructor for Building Blocks, Josh is the first point of contact for many of our students — graciously helping students break through the many barriers to learning production and music theory.

Kris Grant is a classically trained musician and multi-media artist with expertise in electronic music production, synthesis techniques, and composition for digital media. He has been producing and mixing electronic music under the moniker ‘Idea Unsound’ for over two decades.

As a London boy living in LA, Miles has been tearing up dance floors with his eclectic style for over 11 years. From humble beginnings in a tiny bar in East London, to some of the biggest clubs in the UK, including Egg and Ministry of Sound! When he's not behind the decks, he's behind the mic, cracking jokes for anyone who will listen!

Ryan is a musician, teacher, and producer committed to helping artists begin and complete meaningful work. He’s released six albums, several EPs, collaborated extensively, and played hundreds of shows, most recently at Treefort Music Fest and Gold Diggers.

Zack is an experienced DJ, music producer, songwriter, sound designer, and the artist behind the project Turbo 9. He has played Ultra Music Festival and SXSW, collaborated with Diplo, and released music on renowned labels including Fool’s Gold, OWSLA, and Mad Decent.
