How do I become a member?

Tell us about yourself, the music you make, and how you plan to use the studios. We review every application to ensure everyone using the studios is a good fit for the community.

Get approved

Once approved, you will be sent a notice via email. Our current processing time is typically 3-5 days.

Choose a plan

Select either 8, 16, or 32 hours/month. Hours expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle.

What Everyone Wants to Know

By limiting our memberships to approved applicants, we ensure the studios stay available and in great shape for everyone. Our studios are a core part of the IO Music Academy community, so it's important that our members are the right fit to use the space and equipment respectfully.

Yes, you may bring up to 2 guests to your session.

No, the studio membership does not include assistance with setup or recording. Each studio has a tutorial guide explaining things like audio routing and best practices for recording.

No, we do not provide parking. There is metered street parking available at both our LA and SF locations.
