About Your Instructor:
Adam After Hours is the new moniker of Los Angeles-based producer Adam Johan Weimann. An avid supporter of his local music community, his self-described “tender rave music” captures the raw emotion and vulnerability of late nights and early mornings on the dancefloor.
Characterized by dreamy synths, clever vocal sampling, and adventurous arrangements, his music explores both the highs of the rave and the comedown of the after-party. Fulfilling a longtime dream, his debut album, "I Have Places in High Friends," was released on March 29th, 2024, and is available digitally and physically as part of a 200-run, 2-disc red vinyl set. The music has been supported on BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and beloved Los Angeles station KCRW. The music also received support from notable DJs worldwide.
In September 2024, Adam debuted his live electronic set at CRSSD Music Festival in San Diego, opening the stage for some of his favorite artists, such as Pretty Girl, Confidence Man, and Soulwax.
