Your Instructor

Adam Weimann (Adam After Hours, Joluca) is a Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and educator with a deep-rooted passion for house music. As one half of Joluca, he’s released music on Club Bad, IN / ROTATION, Fool’s Gold, Desert Hearts, and W&O Street Tracks, earning support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Claude VonStroke, John Summit, Melé, and countless other DJs around the world.

His solo project, Adam After Hours, explores the emotional highs and lows of rave culture, blending dreamy synths, clever vocal sampling, and adventurous arrangements into what he’s dubbed as "tender rave music." His music has also seen international radio support with plays on BBC Radio 1 (Sarah Story), Kiss FM (Leftwing : Kody), and KCRW (Travis Holcombe’s FREAKS ONLY).

Beyond the studio, Adam is the co-founder and COO of IO Music Academy, one of LA’s leading boutique music production schools. Before moving to LA, he was an integral part of Edmonton’s Night Vision collective, throwing events, founding a music school and studio space, and helping shape the city’s electronic music culture.

With DJ performances at EDC, Bass Coast, and Shambhala, plus the recent debut of his live set at CRSSD, Adam keeps finding new ways to share his love for electronic music—whether that’s in the studio, on stage, or in the classroom.
